Summer School

A whole week dedicated to felt making!!! Can you imagine anything better? Each day will be spent exploring a different technique, flat felt and image construction, Hat making, bag making, Nuno felt scarves, and finally a day to go back and play with your favourite technique or to do those little finishing touches embroidery, sewing on buttons to finish of your work. There will also be an opportunity to play with the wonderful new felting machine!

One Day Workshops
The best way to make felt objects is to have a whole day to concentrate! Make hats and bags with 3D techniques and get to use the Connaught Centre’s array of antique hat blocks. Or learn all the intricacies of needle felt and constructing armatures, although we make a doll in this class (not to everyone’s taste!) I find this is the best way to teach all the range of needle felt construction techniques which you can then take away and let you imagination run riot!

These courses are great if you just want to learn techniques to take away! They will teach you the four main felt techniques to enable you to produce fab felt at home, 2 and a half hours to play!
